Cancer can be treated


Cancer incidence is increasing year by year and has overtaken heart disease as the commonest cause of death. The aim of observing world cancer day is to create awareness and to remove the misconceptions about cancer. Cancer is completely treatable, if detected earlier and even controllable in advanced stage.

Early Cancer symptoms:

C – Change in bowel and bladder habits.

A - A sore that does not heal.

U – Unusal bleeding or discharge.

T – Thickening or lump in any part of the body.

I - Indigestion or difficulty in swallowing.

O – Obvious change in mole or wart.

N - Nagging cough or Hoarseness of voice.

Misconceptions to be

removed:

Cancer is always fatal

Cancer is contagious.

All cancers are hereditary.

Cancer is a punishment for something done wrong.

Cancer phobia can be removed only by spreading right information about this disease.
