Corrections and clarifications

A report “Jaspal Rana among BJP candidates” (January 30, 2009) said that Prahlad Joshi, sitting MP from Dharwad, will contest the Dharwad North seat. Prahlad Joshi is the sitting Lok Sabha MP from Dharwad North and he has now been given the party ticket for Dharwad. The error occurred because of the slight change in the name of the constituency from Dharwad North to just Dharwad after delimitation.
