Woman, 3 children drown in well

KOLAR: A woman and her three children reportedly drowned in a well at Kootandahalli in Mulbagal taluk of Kolar district on Thursday. Police gave the names of victims as Alavelamma (30), her daughters Supriya (7), Sunitha (5) and Sindhu (3). The incident occurred in the morning while Alavelamma reportedly tried to rescue one of her children who had slipped into the well while washing clothes, it was learnt. All the four bodies ghave been retrieved from the well.
