A.P. anguish over Kumar’s death

HYDERABAD: In the wake of the killing of 31-year-old Rudraraju Sudhir Kumar in Atlanta City, U.S.A., the eighth person from Andhra Pradesh to have been murdered, the State Government expressed its anguish over the incident to the American Consul General here on Thursday.

Minister for Minorities Welfare and NRI Affairs, Mohd. Shabbir Ali said that he spoke on telephone to Cornelis Keur, the Consul-General and expressed the government’s anguish. He sought to know the steps being taken by the American authorities to ensure the safety of those going to U.S.A. from the State. Mr.Keur promised to brief the Minister on the issue on Friday.
