Over 10,000 students from 150 schools and 50 colleges expected to participate Seminars, eco-trips and workshop on ‘Animation for Conservation’ planned HYDERABAD: The CMS Vatavaran Environment and Wildlife Film Festival will open on Friday with the screening of a Hindi film ‘Chasing Butterflies’, which will showcase the dazzling beauty of butterflies in the region of Doon valley at the foothills of Himalayas. Over, 10,000 students from 150 schools and 50 colleges in twin cities are expected to participate in the film festival, which is being organised for the second time by A. P. National Green Corps (APNGC) at Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan, King Koti. The screening of the films will start from Friday, 10 a.m., release said. APNGC is also organising seminars, eco-trips, workshop on ‘Animation for Conservation’ for children. Details of the films to be screened and timings are as follows: Chasing Butterflies (Hindi, 10 a.m.), Cute Bunny (Non-verbal, 10.30 a.m.), In The Pink (English, 10.35 a.m.), Earthworm Castings (Korean, 11.05 a.m.), The King Cobra and I (English, 11.30 a.m.), Shadows (Non-verbal, 12.20 p.m.), Point Calimere-Little Kingdom by the Coast (English, 12.25 p.m.), Cherub of the Mist (English, 1 p.m.), Riding Solo to the top of the World (English, 1.55 p.m.), Environmental Protection (English, 3.40 p.m.), An Inconvenient Truth (English, 6 p.m.).
