Open house inaugurated

KOCHI: Chandra Wickramasinghe, director of Cardiff Centre for Astrobiology in London, inaugurated the two-day open house for teachers and students organised by the department of physics at Cochin University of Science and Technology on Thursday. The open house has displayed research facilities available in nanotechnology, applied optics, solar cells and thin film.

The event will conclude on Friday.

Dr. Wickramasinghe also inaugurated the astrobiology laboratory at the department of physics on the occasion.
