Maldivian national undergoes redo bypass

HYDERABAD: A 52-year-old Maldivian national successfully underwent a redo beating heart bypass surgery recently at Sigma hospitals here.

The surgery was conducted by a team headed by leading heart surgeon, Prateek Bhatnagar.

Saidullah, had a bypass surgery 12 years ago in Chennai. He developed angina again and was admitted to Indira Gandhi memorial Hospital at Maldives in July last.

He came to Hyderabad last week and the complicated surgery was performed on him on January 29.
