Steady trend in coriander exports

HIGHER PRICE REALISATION: A worker processing coriander seeds at a curry powder making unit near Kochi. Export of 19,600 tonnes of coriander seeds during April - December 2008 fetched Rs 137.23 crore against Rs 77.69 crore (19,150 tonnes) in the same period in the previous year, an increase 77 per cent.
