RCB mulls pre-IPL camp
Bangalore: After having roped in Kevin Pietersen, Royal Challengers Bangalore’s team management is toying with the idea of a pre-IPL camp here in March.
“We understand that the International calendar is packed but all the domestic players who are short-listed for our squad will be called for the camp and even those big players who are free of International commitments will be asked to report here. Plans are still tentative,” said an official, who is part of the team entourage.
Meanwhile chief coach Ray Jennings will be present at the Ranji zonal one-dayers, scouting for talent. Jennings, currently in Goa will return home to South Africa before getting back to Vishakapatnam for the South Zone one-dayers from February 15 to 21. — Principal Correspondent
