Devolution package: Bogollagama
Colombo: Sri Lanka on Saturday said a “devolution package” would be worked out for the north within a democratic framework as the security and welfare of the civilians is of “paramount importance” to the government.
Foreign Minister Rohitha Bogollagama told his Danish counterpart Per Stig Moller that Colombo stood for a pluralistic society and devolution of powers from the centre to the periphery would be offered within democratic framework. — PTI
