Kudos to Indian cricket team

Indian cricket team recently rose to second position in world ranking. But I think success has just come in wrong time. Remember India had tasted similar success just six months before the last World Cup. But they could not carry that performance forward to World Cup. Result was disastrous. I think this time the similar phenomenon is taking place. Just one year away from the World Cup, India team is now peaking. I am afraid they could sustain their performance. We had won the World Cup in 1983. Unless we win the cup again, we cannot claim ourselves a force in world cricket. It is up to BCCI and management as to how they can ready the injury-free players and keep motivation intact till World Cup. There should a concrete strategy to be adopted by taking players into confidence. Any way, congratulations to Indian team for wining nine matches on a trot.

Elections and exams

With Lok Sabha as well as Assembly elections round the corner, it is not only the political people who are feeling the heat and getting extra adrenaline pumped into their system but a new set of people, who hardly been involved in the whole process are also in a panic state.

Though little difficult to understand but if one visit a student’s reading room can easily visualise the impact of the declaration of tentative period for the forthcoming election. When municipal election sans teacher is facing the shortage of personnel as it was in the news a few days ago and matter went up to issue of non-bailable warrant for those, who didn’t follow the order, then for an election of such magnitude can never be dreamt without teachers, schools and colleges.

And at the end of the chain it is the students who have to face advancedexamination schedule. .

Shocking incident

The alleged brutal harassment of a six-year-old girl by police at Etawah in Uttar Pradesh is really shocking and unfortunate. I want to give a new name to the police of Uttar-Pradesh, unruly police of Uttar-Pradesh. Really they don’t have heart for anybody even for the children.

They should investigate the whole case first even before suspecting the little girl for theft. Even if the little girl was guilty, those guilty police officials have no right to touch the little girl named Komal, they should have done their duty by surrendering the girl or sending her to the juvenile custody.
