Last date extended

SANGAREDDY: Giving relief to students pursuing B.Ed. and D.Ed. in the current academic year, Minister for Secondary Education Damodar Raja Narasimha on Sunday promised to issue orders on Monday to accept the applications of the students to attend District Selection Committee examinations that would be held shortly. The Minister also said that the last date for submission of applications would be extended to Feb. 15 from the existing Feb 10. Scores of students met Damodar Raja Narasimha at Regode and presented a memorandum to the Minister explaining rejection of their applications by the authorities on the grounds that the final exam for the students will be held in June.
