Kidnap case: MLA not happy with probe

Thiruvananthapuram: CPI(M) MLA from Manjeswaram C.H. Kunhambu, whose daughter was abducted and let off by suspected Sri Ram Sene activists in Mangalore two days ago, expressed concern over the slow progress of probe into the case.

Mr. Kunhambu said that the “real culprits are yet to be arrested.”

No justice done

“My daughter has suffered severe mental strain. Considering the action taken by the Karnataka police so far, I do not think justice has been done,” the CPI(M) MLA said.

Kerala Chief Minister V.S. Achuthanandan had on Saturday conveyed his grave concern over the incident to his Karnataka counterpart B.S. Yeddiyurappa. — PTI
