MADURAI: Members of Alcoholics Anonymous celebrated the second inter group anniversary meeting here on Sunday. With the sole objective to help persons suffering from alcohol consumption, the members offered counselling that enabled them to live without alcohol. With the past experience of having rehabilitated so many persons, chapters of Alcoholics Anonymous is functioning in as many as 182 countries, members said. The recovery steps are common worldwide and there is no religion. The forum is self-supporting with contributions from the members. The Madurai inter group which has members from Madurai, Periyakulam, Bodinaickanur, Theni and Andipatti participated.
