Man held for circulating obscene pictures in mobile phones

HYDERABAD: A mobile phone shop owner was arrested by the city police on Sunday on charges of downloading obscene pictures and circulating them to mobile phone users.
Police recovered a computer and other related accessories from the possession of the accused, K. Pradeep Kumar (21) of Attapur. Kumar opened a ‘Prince mobile and accessories shop’ in Kishanbagh two months ago.
He later started procuring CDs containing obscene pictures from Jagdish Market in Abids and downloading them into the memory cards of phone users by collecting Rs.50.
Kumar was indulging in this activity to meet expenses of a lavish lifestyle, said DCP (Task Force) A.S.C. Wesley.
