Adhyatmika peetham convention begins

Kakinada: The three-day annual convention of Sri Viswa Viznana Vidya Adhyatmika Peetham, Pithapuram, commenced on Monday with the lighting of the ceremonial lamp by Peetham chief Umar Alisha. He described the Peetham as a `temple of humanity’ which is accessible to people of all faiths seeking divine education. He said acquiring character through education was the need.
Retired principal Kannan Sha and retired Doordarshan engineer SLK Prasada Rao said the `Mahamantra’ imparted by Umar Alisha releases the inherent energy in a person. Former MP MVS Murthy and Rev. Dhanraj of Church of Christ, Amalapuram took part.
