This Day That Age
Mr. C. Subramaniam, Minister for Finance and Education, categorically stated in the Madras Legislative Assembly on February 9 that the Government would not allow any teacher to be thrown out of employment or any child denied educational facilities on account of the threatened closure of aided elementary schools by the managements consequent on Government’s Order that schools receiving Government grant should not levy fees.
