Pappu Yadav allowed to attend session
NEW DELHI: The Delhi High Court on Friday allowed Pappu Yadav, a Rashtriya Janata Dal MP from Madhepura in Bihar, to participate in the last session of the 14th Lok Sabha beginning on February 12.
The Court had last July allowed him to vote on the confidence motion in the Lok Sabha.
Justice Ravindra S. Bhat of the Court permitted Mr. Yadav to participate in the session on a petition by him.
Mr. Yadav is at present serving his life term in Tihar Central Jail in the Capital in a murder case in Bihar. He was transferred to the Tihar jail from Beur jail in Patna three years ago on a Supreme Court direction.
