PALAKKAD: Two persons died and three others were injured when the Maruthi Omni van they were travelling in collided with a tipper lorry at NH 213 at Panniyampadam, near Mundur, on Thursday. The deceased are Nandini (65), wife of Keshavan of Keshava Nivas, Punna, Mundur and their grandson Riyush (11), son of Rajan of Madhavam House, Mundur. The injured are Salimkumar (36), son of Nandini, his wife Sini (30) and their son Achu (6).
