Stress on value education

Staff Reporter

PUDUCHERRY: Time had come to have a re-look on teaching methodology, especially in business schools, to inculcate values among young professionals, Janata Party president Subramanian Swamy has said.

He was delivering the valedictory address at the second international conference on “Integrating spirituality and organisational leadership” here on Thursday. Inculcating the value system and thrust on blending cognitive intelligence with spirituality would be an ideal panacea to the growing pursuit for profit, which was leading the corporate companies to a mess, he said.

He emphasised the need for more transparency in the functioning of corporate companies.

Chair, International Conferences, Faculty of Management Studies Vijay Kapur and dean, Faculty of Management Studies, University of Delhi, J. K Mitra, also spoke.
