The camp will be held on February 17 and 18 One person assiting the disabled will be provided food VIZIANAGARAM: Collector G. Ram Narayana Reddy has said in a statement that Bhagavan Mahavir Vikalanga Sahayata Samiti, Hyderabad, Indira Kranthi Patham and Disabled Welfare Departments will jointly organise a mega camp for distributing artificial limbs, calipers, crutches, and tri-cycles to the physically challenged at TTD Kalyanamandapam for three days from February 20. Prior to the camp, camps for identifying the eligible have been planned at the following mandal offices on February 17 and 18. Identification camps on February 17 will be held at Vizianagaram, Gantyada, Gajapathinagaram, Bondapalli, Mentada, Dattirajeru, Denkada, Bhogapuram, Poospatirega, Nellimarla, Gurla, Kothavalasa, Vepada, L. Kota, S. Kota, Jami and Cheepurupalli. That apart the camps would be conducted at the municipal offices in Vizianagaram and Parvathipuram. Identification camps on February 18 will be held at Garividi, Therlam, Badangi, Parvathipuram, Komarada, Kurupam, G.L. Puram, Jiyyammavalasa, Garugubilli, Salur, Pachipenta, Makkuva, R.B. Puram, Bobbili, Balijipeta, Sitanagaram and Merakamudidam besides the municipal offices in Bobbili and Salur. The eligible must attend camps with a passport size photograph. Those found eligible in the identification camps must have to attend the mega camp at TTD kalyanamandapam here on the dates and mandals mentioned. On February 20 at Salur, R.B.Puram, Parvathipuram, Komarada, Garugubilli, Kurupam, G.L.Puram, Jiyyammavalasa, Makkuva and Pachipenta. On February 21at Kothavalasa, Vepada, Merakamudidam, L. Kota, Garividi, Cheepurupalli, Badangi, Therlam, Gajapathinagaram, Mentada, Dattirajeru, Bobbili, Sitanagaram and Balijipeta. On February 22 at Vizianagaram, Gantyada, Bondapalli, Nellimarla, Gurla, S. Kota, Jami, Denkada, Bhogapuram and Poospatirega. At least 24 hours required for manufacturing and fixing artificial limbs and calipers to the disabled. One person assisting the disabled would be provided food. Free transport was also arranged for the identified beneficiaries.
