Yashwant, Munda injured

Ranchi: The former Union Minister, Yashwant Sinha and the former Jharkhand Chief Minister, Arjun Munda, were among at least 20 men and women were injured when police resorted to a baton charge to disperse activists of the BJP who tried to gherao Raj Bhavan during a protest march on Thursday. Mr. Sinha, who suffered injury under the ear, escaped more blows as his bodyguards shielded him. — PTI
