Award winner congratulated

VISAKHAPATNAM: Collector Sanjay Kumar on Friday congratulated senior journalist P.V. Satyanarayana Rao of Narsipatnam on receiving the State government’s Khasa Subba Rao Best Rural Reporter Award.

Mr. Satyanarayana Rao, who is in-charge of Andhra Jyoti at Narsipatnam, received the award, which included a cash award of Rs.2 lakhs and a memento, from Speaker K.R. Suresh Reddy at a function held in Hyderabad on February 10. Mr. Rao had earlier received the district-level best reporter award in 1996, 2007 and 2008. DPRO V. Maniram and others were present.
