Two killed

KARUR: Two persons were killed in as many road accidents in the district on Thursday. Vedhachalam (61) of Kamatchi Amman Koil Middle Street here was grievously injured when an unidentified vehicle collided with the motorcycle he was riding near Vangapalayam on Thursday. He was rushed to a private hospital in Coimbatore where he succumbed to injuries. Sikkander (25), a construction worker from Kathiyal district in Bihar, was killed after he dashed his motorcycle he was riding on a tree near Velayuthampalayam on Thursday night.
