Painting expo

CHENNAI: As part of The Hindu Newspaper In Education initiative, an exhibition-cum-sale of paintings by participants of The Hindu Young World Painting Competition held in December 2008, will be on from February 16 to 22.

The exhibition will be inaugurated by musician Aruna Sairam and Chariman and Managing Director of Viveks, B.A. Kodandarama Setty, at Apparao Galleries, 7, Wallace Gardens, 3rd Street, Nungambakkam, at 10 a.m. The sale proceeds of the exhibition-cum-sale will go towards social causes.
