Woman arrested

Krishnaveni (68) of Shenoy Nagar was arrested while she was selling ganja on Saturday. About 1.24 kg of the contraband was seized . Deputy Commissioner of Police (Kilpauk) M.C. Sarangan said she was accused in many cases, including two murder cases and 18 cases of Narcotics Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act.

She was convicted in seven cases.
