‘Sonda Utsav’

Sirsi: “Malenad Sobagu - Sonda Utsav” was inaugurated by Speaker of the Legislative Assembly Jagadish Shettar on Friday. The utsav was held on Muttinakere Venkatraman temple ground at Sonda. Uttara Kannada district in-charge Minister Vishweshwar Hegde Kageri presided over the function. Minister for Science and Technology and Fisheries Anand Asnotikar spoke. Sri Bhattakalanka Swamiji of Jain Math at Sonda and Nandakumar of South Zone Cultural Centre in Tanjavur were present. Shantaram Siddi of Vanavasi Kalyan, Sreenivas Bhat of Manjaguni Temple and Eshwar Naik Hasawante were felicitated on the occasion.
