Toppers honoured

Tirupur: The awards to the winners of model examination conducted by NIFT-TEA Knitwear Fashion Institute for Plus-One and Plus-Two students, who have opted French as an elective paper, were given away here recently. Writer and journalist Lena Tamilvanan distributed the citation and shields to the toppers.
Following is the list of top three finishers in the Plus-Two category with the name of their school given in brackets: S. Krupa (Kikani Matric Higher secondary School, Coimbatore); Senthil Raja (Sri Saraswathi Vidya Mandir HSS, Mettupalayam); and Pon Gomathi (Sri Saraswathi Vidya Mandir HSS, Mettupalayam). The winners in Plus-One segment (all students from Nyruti Matriculation HSS, Tirupur): S. Udaya Chander; Tamil Selvan and Ankur Jalan. Raja Shanmugam, chairman of NIFT-TEA Knitwear Fashion Institute, was present.
