Fire breaks out in shops near Birla temple

HYDERABAD: Puja material and other valuables worth thousands of rupees were gutted after fire broke out in five shops-cum-houses near Birla Mandir at Adarshnagar on Sunday morning.

None injured

However, no one was injured in the incident, according to police. Firemen said the fire broke out at around 2.35 a.m., reportedly due to electrical short-circuit.

By the time fire tenders from Gowliguda and Musheerabad reached the spot to put out the fire, puja material and other valuables were damaged.
