Irreparable loss: Member of Parliament Madhu Goud Yashki consoling the mother of Sidhartha at her residence in Nizamabad on Sunday. NIZAMABAD: Member of Parliament Madhu Goud Yashki has said the nation lost a brilliant space scientist, in the death of Yarlagadda Sidhartha and expressed his heartfelt sympathies to the bereaved family. “It is an irreparable loss to our nation as Sidhartha was rated one among 100 brilliant space scientists of the world. I am fumbling for words to console his parents and noted doctors Sambasiva Rao and Sujatha”, said the Member of Parliament in a press release issued here on Sunday. After completion of B.Tech from IIT, Chennai, Mr. Sidhartha finished his M.S. in the University of Munich in a single year. Then, he joined the University of Madrid on a fellowship in space sciences just seven months ago. He was reportedly roped into the prestigious space project on planet Mars. The people of the district, particularly the doctors’ fraternity, academics and students were in a state of deep shock following the mysterious death of Mr. Sidhartha as he got several friends since he had his schooling here. The family is yet to come out of the shock as they are struggling to know the reasons for his demise. Important messagesThose who visited the residence of the bereaved family of the 26-year-old Sidhartha, were in tears when his parents told them that their son sent them important messages from Holy books of Bible and Geetha and Quran saying that they did not find time to read the books, being busy with medical practice. Mr. Sidhartha used to spend half of the amount sent by his parents for the handicapped and orphans instead of spending the entire amount for his own purpose. MysteryMeanwhile, the death of the young space scientist still remains a mystery. His friends’ circle in Madrid is said to be shell-shocked and unable to give details, according to a family friend and former IMA secretary N. Ramchander. Post mortem report“Until post mortem report comes we cannot tell the reasons”, said Dr. Ramchander quoting Sidhartha’s friends in the Madrid. Sidhartha’s elder brother Yarlagadda Sandeep, a medical practitioner in the United States of America would go to Spain to bring his brother’s body home, he said.
