15,000 take part in Chennai Marathon

CHENNAI: Over 15,000 persons took part in the seventh edition of Chennai Marathon, organised on Sunday by the Sports Development Authority of India. The event was flagged off by Minister for Environment and Sports T.P.M.Mohideen Khan at 6.20 a.m. from Anna Square in Marina beach, which was also the finishing point.
