Kongu Engineering, which clinched the second spot, took home the Claudius Trophy. Sachin Sandeep was declared the man of the match and Shankar of Kumaraguru College of Technology the ‘best player’. Gunasekaran, captain of the 1977-78 Madras University team and an alumni of PSG Tech, gave away the prizes.
