Airhostess found dead in Kozhikode flat

Kozhikode: A 27-year-old airhostess of Air India Express was found dead in a flat on Karat Road at West Nadakavu here on Monday.
The police said the body of Pooja M. Debarase, daughter of P.N. Marotrao Debarase, hailing from Nagpur in Maharashtra, was found in a decomposed state on the second-floor flat of the three-storey building. It was lying on the ground and one end of the shawl which the victim is believed to have used to hang herself remained on the ceiling fan. Residents of the flats informed the police when foul smell emanated from the flat which was locked from inside. The police had to break open the door. Pooja was last seen on Friday evening.
