Fire in building under construction

Job well done: Fire fighting personnel making arrangements to extinguish fire at the building that is under construction at Gachibowli on Monday.
HYDERABAD: A minor fire accident took place on the sixth floor of a multi-storeyed building under construction at Gachibowli on Monday afternoon. However, no one was injured in the incident.
Two fire tenders from Filmnagar and Madhapur rushed to the spot after receiving a call around 3.30 p.m. and extinguished flameswithin an hour. A real-estate company DLF is constructing the building. “Wet risers and water storage tanks were already provided in the building and this facilitated us to carry out fire-fighting operation with ease,” said Ranga Reddy district Assistant Fire Officer K.V. Krishna Kumar.
