Postal life insurance mela

RASIPURAM: The Department of Posts organised a Rural Postal Life Insurance Mela here recently. The department organised the programme primarily to raise awareness among people about the insurance scheme and motivate them to insure under the scheme.
The department issued postal life insurance policies to the tune of Rs. 4 crore during the programme.
Superintendent of Post Offices, West Division, M. Srirangan handed over awards to achievers in the department.
SRV Schools Managing Trustee A. Ramasamy and Rasipuram Bar Association president Elangovan spoke.
