“I’ve been wronged”: Fiza aka Anuradha Bali at the Punjab State Human Rights Commission in Chandigarh on Thursday.

CHANDIGARH: Fiza aka Anuradha Bali, the second wife of former Haryana Deputy Chief Minister and Kalka MLA Chand Mohammad aka Chander Mohan on Thursday submitted a petition to the Punjab State Human Rights Commission against her husband and the Mohali Police.

Arriving at the Commission office here, Ms. Fiza was accompanied by Global Human Rights Council chairman and lawyer Arvind Thakur. Parrying media questions, they went to the Commission office and submitted the petition which was filed through the Global Human Rights Council.

In the petition, a prayer has been made to direct the Mohali police to register a case against Mr. Chander Mohan, the elder son of former Haryana Chief Minister Bhajan Lal, on the basis of her criminal complaint lodged with the police on February 16 on charges of rape, hurting religious sentiments, cheating and defamation. Mohali SSP J. S. Aulakh has also been made a party to the petition. Interestingly, the Mohali police have already summoned Ms. Fiza and Mr. Chander Mohan on Friday.

Mr. Chander Mohan, who is already married to Seema Bishnoi, had converted to Islam along with Ms. Bali in December and announced their marriage. However, he had disappeared from Ms. Fiza’s flat in Mohali on January 28 and denied his second wife’s allegation that he had been kidnapped by his younger brother Kuldip Bishnoi.

Mr. Chander Mohan had told the electronic media from somewhere in hiding that he was missing his first wife and children. There are unconfirmed reports that he has rejoined his first wife and children and the family has gone abroad.
