SME loan fair to be held today; housing loan fair tomorrow

COIMBATORE: Onyx wares from Pakistan, stone carvings, glass basins and partitions, wooden flooring and artistic corporate mementos are all available under one roof at Build Intec 2009, a construction fair organised here by the Coimbatore District Small Industries Association.

The four-day event started on Friday at the CODISSIA Trade Fair Complex with about 200 stalls in Halls D and E. Construction equipment, saplings, and outdoor decors are displayed. Pumpsets, safety systems, furniture, solar water heaters, property projects, are also showcased.

Bankers have taken space to create awareness about their schemes. Construction magazines, grills, compressed coir products and water treatment equipment are some of the other products on display.

Apart from the local manufacturers and dealers, participants have come from other cities too.

An SME loan fair will be held on February 21 and a housing loan fair on February 22. Seminars will also be organised on the two days.
