Bhat leaves for Germany

BANGALORE: The newly crowned National badminton champion Arvind Bhat left for Germany on Thursday to play in the German league where he represents Bishmshiem Club.

Bhat is scheduled to play in the German Open (February 24 to March 1), All England championship (March 3 to 8) and Swiss Open (March 10 to 15).

“I hope to put up a good show in all three events, now that the load of not winning a National title is off my shoulders. I feel relaxed, confident and pleased with my form,” said Bhat. — Special Correspondent
