Nurses decide to continue strike

NEW DELHI: Nursing personnel of various government hospitals in the Capital have decided to continue their relay hunger strike after they failed to get a written assurance from the Government on their demands. The five-day hunger strike was earlier slated to end on Friday. “We met senior Union Health Ministry officials on Wednesday, but to no avail. We have decided to take a mass CL on March 3 and proceed on indefinite strike from March 5 ,” said Delhi Nurses Union secretary Padma Prakash.
