Water, power cuts in the Capital

NEW DELHI: Large parts of the Capital experienced water and power shortage on Friday. While residents in the trans-Yamuna area were deprived of water on account of maintenance work, large parts of the city reeled under power cuts. The city faced a shortage of 300-400 MW on account of generation units at Dadri, Rihand, Badarpur and Pragati going out.
