DDA scam case investigating officers transferred

NEW DELHI: S.B.K. Singh, Additional Commissioner of Police with the Economic Offences Wing of Delhi Police who was supervising investigations into the alleged DDA scam case, has been transferred to Puducherry. An Assistant Commissioner of Police associated with the probe has also been transferred out.
According to sources, an order transferring ACP Deepak Purohit to Daman was received by Delhi Police Headquarters about a week ago. Mr. Purohit was directly supervising the case.
The Union Home Ministry has also transferred out Mr. Singh to Puducherry. However, the police are yet to receive a formal order. They are still to find replacements for the outgoing officers.
