Vedike stages protest

KOLAR: Activists of Kolara Jilla Raitha Hitarakshana Vedike staged a protest at D. Devaraj Urs Circle near the KSRTC bus-stand here on Saturday condemning the alleged step-motherly attitude towards the district in the budget presented by Chief Minister B.S. Yeddyurappa on Friday. Led by vedike leaders Moorandahalli Gopal and Bellambari Nagaraj, they criticised the Government for not allocating adequate funds for drinking water projects in the district.
