Shinde lays foundation for thermal power plant

Nagpur: Union Power Minister Sushil Kumar Shinde laid the foundation stone for a 1,000 MW thermal power project of the National Thermal Power Corporation (NTPC) at Mouda, about 30 km near here, on Sunday.

Speaking at the function, Mr. Shinde said India was marching towards ample power generation. — PTI
