Anil triumphs
THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: O.T. Anil Kumar (Kozhikode) won the 15th YMCA all-Kerala prize money chess tournament at the YMCA hall here on Monday.
Anil Kumar logged 7.5 points to finish first. P.V. Girish (6.5 points) and Meenu Rajendran (6 pts) finished second and third respectively.
In the junior section, Arijith (6.5) won the first place followed by G. Hariharan (6.5) and S.R.Vaishaki (6 pts).
Shyam V. Unnikrishnan won the under-15 title while Vaisakh Prasanna Kumar came first in under-13 category. Mohd Shibili took the top place in under-11 category while Mevin and Vijay Narayanan won the titles in under -9 and under-7 categories.
