Youth ends life

Kakinada: A 20-year-old youth K. Adinarayana died after consuming pesticide at Kesanakurru village in I. Polavaram mandal in the late hours of Monday. P. Devi (18) of the same village, who is reportedly loved by the deceased, was hospitalised after she made a vain bid to consume poison. Both hail from farm workers’ families, who did not accept their relationship. There was a discussion between them on Monday night but they did not give up their respective stands, resulting in the youngsters resorting to the extreme step.

I. Polavaram police are investigating.
