2 employees in ACB net
HYRERABAD: Officials of the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) on Tuesday ‘caught’ A. Shyam Rao, senior assistant who is in-charge mandal revenue inspector in the Machareddy Tahsildar’s office in Nizamabad district, and N. Lingam, attender, while Rao was accepting Rs.1,500 as bribe from the complainant.
A press release issued by ACB here said that Rao had demanded the amount for doing an official favour of sending enquiry report to the tahsildar for issue of ‘pattadar’ pass book and the title deed.
Cash recovered
The officials recovered the tainted cash from Lingam.
The two employees are being arrested and produced before the Principal Special Judge for SPE and ACB Cases, Hyderabad.
