Cash stolen from TASMAC outlet

CHENNAI: A total of Rs.2 lakh cash kept at a liquor outlet of the Tamil Nadu State Marketing Corporation on Wallajah Road was reported stolen on Tuesday.

Police said that when the shop supervisor, Tiruvenkadam, opened the shop he found the cash kept in a safe missing.

The accused gained entry through the bar attached to the shop.

The Triplicane police have registered a case.
