Staff Reporter
Kakinada: A World Bank team led by National Disaster Management Authority advisor GSG Iyengar inspected the restoration works of Uppada beach road which was badly damaged during a cyclone last year.
Initiative

Mr. Iyengar and his teammates later visited a cyclone shelter at Ramannapalem and elicited information about the disaster mitigation measures taken by the district administration.
Kakinada RDO G.C. Kishore Kumar, Roads and Buildings Department superintending engineer Manohar Swami, executive engineer CSN Murthy, Fisheries Department deputy director Prasad and others were present.
