44,740 students to take SSLC examination

KOZHIKODE: A total of 44,740 students will appear for the SSLC examination in the district from March 11 to 26.

Of this, 22,391 are boys and 22,349 girls. The most number of students will be from the Vadakara education district - 15,747; Thamarassery education district 14,589; and the Kozhikode education district 14,404.

Question papers will arrive here between February 26 and March 3 and would be stored at Kozhikode Model HS and the office of the Deputy Director of Education (DDE) at Thamarassery and Vadakara.

The sorting of question papers would be held on March 4, 5 and 6 and would be kept at treasuries. The question papers would be dispatched to the respective examination centres with police escort on examination days. A meeting to discuss the conduct of the examination at the Collectorate was chaired by Collector P.B. Salim.
