Sand at fair price

Thiruvananthapuram: The Forest Department and the Nirmithi Kendra are launching a venture to supply river sand at fair price to the common man and the financially weaker sections.

It will be inaugurated by the Forest and Housing Minister Binoy Viswom at Kulathupuzha on February 27.

Sand will be provided only for the construction of buildings with a plinth area not exceeding 2000 sq ft. — Special Correspondent
